Cold weather's coming

We've pulled out the quilts Mike's grandmother made and are piling them up to stay warm.
There's a freeze warning up for the area tonight. I have brought in all of the house plants and will put out extra seed for the birds tomorrow.

On Oct. 3rd our son and daughter in law had a baby girl, Ella Margaret. She's a beautiful little girl who has us all wrapped around her little fist already.

Back to Ohio

I am driving to Ohio to attend the October meeting of Art Quilt Network, www.artquiltnetwork.com/. I am excited to get back to talking about art!!

We have settled in to our house in University Park. It's a quiet spot only 5 miles from downtown DC. We have access to the Metro, the MARQ train and lots of freeways with tons of cars.

I am working in Baltimore at the American Visionary Art Museum, www.avam.org. It's a wonderful and eclectic museum!

Alaska

This summer we went to Alaska on a small boat cruise, 9 passengers and 4 crew. It was a fantastic trip. We flew from Juneau to Petersburg, a small run way with a big jet landing was very interesting.

On the move again

We are about to move to a house in University Park. We can't wait to get some garden space back!
Any creative time will have to wait till we are in the house. For now we are packing!
